To celebrate with other arts organizations in June, a number of printmakers carve giant plates, some taking up to 50 hours to make. It takes two or more pairs of hands to get the plates inked. A steamroller pulls in to the parking lot and, one-by-one, rolls over the plates so an original large print, sometimes a big as 3 ft. x 5 ft. is able to be pulled. An interested crowd gathers to watch the fun for the day. Prints are then displayed in Peace Gallery North inside the North Peace Cultural Centre for the month of June.
